THE GARFIELD TRADING NETWORK

Welcome to The Garfield Trading Network. My intent is for this to be a continually evolving site. Your input is important. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, e-mail me.

Hi! My name is Tony Capuano Jr and I am a huge Garfield fan. I am 48 years old, (My birthday is June 17th. Two days before Garf!) and single. I don't have any children but I have four cats: Nermal (15),(He really WAS the worlds cutest kitten!) , Sammy(8), Stormy(7) and Gizmo(3).

In January 1999 I lost my oldest cat, Shadow, at the age of 16. I have posted a tribute page to him.

We also have cats that live in our glass shop: Pepper (8) , Salt (7) , Snowman (5), and Charlie (8 months).

In the spring of 2002 our last original white shop cat, Sugar(baby)(13), decided that she would prefer to be an "only-cat". Mom had two dogs and a bird at home but no kitties, so Baby moved in with her. She is the Queen of the house.

I have been collecting Garfield items for over 27 years and have quite alot of stuff. Sometimes I have extra stuff that I need to get rid of and I am always looking to pick up new stuff. Thanks to the wonderful Internet, I have already worked some trades with other fans. Now I'm trying to take it global. The premise is simple. If you have extra Garfield collectibles that you would like to trade, send me a "have" list. If there are particular items that you are looking for, send me a "want" list. I'll pass the word along the Network, and we'll see if we can't put some folks in touch with each other. If you spot a new or unusual Garf item, send me a sighting report.

Even if you don't have a list, I can add you to my mailing list. I send out a semi-regular e-newsletter with news and sightings. If you would like to receive it, just send me your e-mail address.

A few points before we start.

I prefer to keep this on a trading basis. If you wish to exchange money amongst yourselves, that's your business. The one exception for me is in the area of Garfield watches. We'll talk later.
I also prefer to stick to commercially produced, LICENSED items. We are FANS of the Garf. We don't want to do anything to undermine Mr Davis' ability to earn a living.
Finally, I take no responsibility for any arguments, bad trades or general bad karma between traders. To paraphrase on old adage: "Trader Beware!"
