THE G.T.N. GARFIELD SIGHTINGS LIST

Last updated on May 17th, 2004

This is a list of new or unusual Garfield items that have been spotted. Where they are available will be included if known. If they aren't available in your area, maybe you can work out a trade.

Did you know there is a new Garfield live action/CGI movie? It's called... Garfield: The Movie! Naturally, there will be many (collectible) promotional items associated with the film. The coolest one (so far) is an eight foot tall inflatable issued to the theatres.

Part of the promotion for the movie includes Garfield:The Movie Goldfish Crackers. The big containers have a free figurine inside. There are three different figurines. There is also a "Where's Odie?" contest to win a trip to Hollywood. Go to www.pfgoldfish.com .

Check out the "Car Sign Guys"! They're plush stick-ups with various messages attached. So far they have only been spotted in a convience store in Iowa.

Russell Stover has new hard plastic candy boxes with PVC keychains attached. Also some new plushes with attached candy boxes. Click below to see the various holidays that have been available.

Valentines Day.

Christmas.

The December 6th, 2002 edition of Entertainment Weekly had a mention of the live action Garfield movie that is in the works. You can see it here.

Ebonite has a new line of Garfield Bowling supplies. You can see an ad for them here. I must say that I am somewhat disappointed in the bowling ball.

The Garfield/Richard Petty diecast cars are out. Click here for a look at them.

There is a "Happy Birthday Garfield" stage show touring the states. Check Garfield.com for the current schedule. Here is a picture from the show. Check out the lasagna birthday cake!

In case you haven't seen them, (what planet have YOU been on?) here are the "Got Milk?" ads:

Got Milk #1

Got Milk #2

Speaking of cool items, look at this: A Garfield credit card!! TOO COOL! Now if I only had a credit rating.

This is the Garfield Indiana Education license plate.

The local animal shelter has a hayfield which they decorate by "dressing up" the hay bales as various animals. Back around Halloween I was driving by and guess who I spotted! I call it "Hay Garf"
